Hello all you cyber folks!
Well... the boys have already started tag-teaming on their mommy! Missy was put on bed rest starting Sept 18 :o(
Her cervix has shortened to 2.2 and the OB is afraid she may go into pre-term labor so she has been banished to the world of bed rest. Missy had to go to the HIgh-Risk Perinatalogist on Sept 19 and he said that she is not releasing any labor chemicals which is good news.
Bob and Missy went back to the OB on Sept 25 and Missy's cervix had stabilized at 2.2 which is still thin but at least it has not thinned any more. That's good news! We're hoping that one more week of bedrest will give it time to thicken and then Missy can get back to living with the vertical!! LOL!!
Hopefully we'll be able to post some more belly pics this weekend. 7 months and still cookin'!
Keep us in your thoughts and prayers (especially Missy who is going BONKERS!!)
hugs from us all!

And MORE Luau pix
Thanks to the "Stork" and "Dora the Explorer" for showing up and posing for some pix. If you are in the Knoxville area you can book Robert Wilson with Character Connection to visit birthday parties and events. He has more than 10 costumes including Power Rangers, The Dora Line, and lots of others! You can reach The Character Connection at 865-454-2063.
Lovin' the Luau!!
The much anticipated and long awaited Green Boys Double Trouble Baby Bash Luau was a success! We had well over 100 people come and party with us and the boys on Sat Sept 6. We enjoyed good food, great company, and outstanding gifts! Special thanks goes to those who REALLY made this whole fiesta happen: The Original Twins (Gina and Tina), Aunt Jim and Fairy Godmother Michelle, Nana Liz, Aunt Brenda, Cousin Krista and Krista Cantrell. We missed those of you who couldn't make it but know you were thinking of us! Enjoy the pictures!

Week 25 update (approx 6 months)

Hello all you cyber folks!!! Here's the latest and greatest....
Missy, Nana Liz, and the boys had an ultrasound today. Alex was not at all cooperative (he's stubborn already!). He was very far down in Missy's uterus and the ultrasound tech had a very difficult time measuring him. Max has COMPLETELY moved positions and is now breech (feet down instead of head down) and actually laying sideways across Missy's tummy. He was very cooperative for the measurements part of the ultrasound but then as the tech turned on the 4D machine.... Max rolled over and turned his back towards us!!! I know two little boys who are gonna be in bug trouble when they come out! LOL! So.... we didn't get any 4D pix but did get a pretty good DVD. Max is sitting DIRECTLY on top of Alex's head. They are playing a game of Baby Twister inside Missy's belly =)
Thankfully, both boys are growing fab-u-lously. Alex is now 1lb 15 oz and Max is exactly 2lbs. BOth boys are bigger than average babies their age (thanks to BOB!!!) and are very healthy! The boys have another photoshoot (aka ultrasound) in 2 weeks and will soon go to every week to make sure ol' Max keeps growing as he should with his umbilical cord issue.
Missy is doing well also! She is up to 153lbs (yikers!) and is loving eating everything! Her iron is very low, though, so she is having to take MORE pills to help with that. It's a good thing she has such a large appetite or all these pills would fill her up! LOL! Missy did discuss a planned C-section for the boys to make their entrance. Just some FYI..... a singleton pregnancy (one baby) is full term at 40 weeks. Full term for twins is usually 36-38 weeks if the mother makes it that far. More than 50% of twin pregnancies deliver early. So Missy is crossing her legs and trying to cook these little guys as long as possible.
Bob is getting the house ready inside and out so that we can relax once the boys make their appearance. He is busy planting bulbs and landscaping and making everything beau-ti-ful. Missy just thinks it's his version of nesting! =)
You will find attached some pix of the boys making themselves very evident out of Missy's belly.
We'll update again after our next appt on Sept 18 (or sooner if anything exciting happens)
hugs from us all!
Bob, Missy, Alex, and Max
